My baby's 2 months old and I still haven't had my period yet...?

I bled heavily for 4 weeks after her birth, and we've been sexually active ever since. Last night it was particularly vigorous and I bled a bit. But it's since stopped. How worried should I be? Should I see my doctor?My baby's 2 months old and I still haven't had my period yet...?

i know....it's NOT funny....i also have a 2 month old (and a 1 1/2 year old....i would go insane if i were p.g. again...)

take a test.....be sure.....then go to the doctor.....dont freak out about it though....it's better to have them close together, rather then 10 years apart....just think, you wouldn't know what to do anymore!!!

If you are breastfeeding, you can go without having a period during the entire time you are breastfeeding. Also, after only two months, your hormones are still out of whack so it may take a few months for your cycle to regulate again. I have two children and after each one my cycle was irregular for about 6 mths to a year. See your doctor just to make sure everything is okay. When I went to the doctor for irregularity, I was given birth control pills to regulate my cycle.
