Ovarian Cyst?

I have a dull ache on the lower, left side of my abdomen. At times, my lower, left back also hurts. Could this be a cyst? It seems like this ache comes every month or so after my period. It is more like a pressure feeling.. Any ideas?Ovarian Cyst?
The previous answer is again from somebody who knows something but far from the complete picture. The cause of your pain could indeed be ovarian cysts: the pain they cause (and it can be excruciating) is not when they burst but when due to body movements or peristaltic movements of the bowel they rotate on their pedicle (the "root" with which they are attached to the blood vessel feeding them). Pain can become so intense that a surgical removal has to be done at once.
All this said, the cause for your pain could be a lot of other things. I agree with the previous answer that you should get an ecosound scan asap.
Sounds like a cyst. A lot of times woman get them and they burst which causes the pain. I would get an ultrasound done to check it out.
Go to the Dr. and have them do a test to check for PCOS, If you want to know more look up what PCOS is and that should help. But ask a Dr. they would know more.
It is probably because you are "ovulating". When your egg, aka follicle drops. If this happens about 2 weeks after your period I would say this is why.
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.. or PCOS. I have just be diagnosed with it!! Good luck
it could be but then it could be other things as well so getting a check up with your doctor would be the best solution ..Not only will your doctor be more than likely to help but you'll have peace of mind as well......
