My period started yesterday and the blood is not normal, why?

it's not really blood it's more like brown and clumpy. it's not heavy in fact it's really light but it still has me worriedMy period started yesterday and the blood is not normal, why?
this is normal...menstrual blood can change sometimes and isnt always blood as such. It can often look like brown discharge, and most women get clots at times. I do all the time. I really wouldn't worry, sometimes you have light periods and sometimes they're heavy, and theres no reason. If you're still worried go to your doctor, but honestly I think you're fine xx
