My friend told me she is getting lumps on her armpit is that dangerous?

shes too stupid to ask her mom even though her mother is a nurse, she told me she thinks her armpits are allergic to deordorant(which she puts on heavily, i can smell it a mile a way), could that be possible?My friend told me she is getting lumps on her armpit is that dangerous?
it could be an allgeric reaction to her deoderant. If they are just bumps like a rash, she should change her deoderant. If they are pea-sized or bigger, she needs to show her mom and go to her doctor because they could be enlarged lymph nodes which could mean she is just sick or possibly cancer. tell her to show her mom.
She could just be clogging up her pores and glands in her underarms. tell her to use less deodorant, maybe even lay off it for a couple days but stay clean so she doesn't smell! :)
It is possible. It could be that she is shaving her arm pits and then putting deodorant on right after she shaves. That can cause a little rash. She may need to stop using so much, or switch the brand she uses. It isn't a big problem, and won't hurt her, but it's just annoying.
Comments on deordorent and shaving are true but if the lumps are larger than say a pea, your friend must go to her doctor - particularly if they are persistent. It could be an infection or a tumour - not likely but possible and better to be safe than sorry.
